This Monday, October 14, we received an exciting visit from a delegation of aviation professionals from Oman. The delegation was part of an “Aviation, Air Cargo, and Airport Management” professional exchange project through the U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). Their visit to Louisville was programmed by the World Affairs Council of Kentucky & Southern Indiana (WAC) and centered around the professional themes of navigation tools for safe aviation operations, economic development efforts, and aviation education programs. What’s even more awesome? They were recommended to come to Hangar 5 and learn about Flight Club 502!

The delegates received a tour from members of Flight Club 502’s executive board, as well as an informational presentation about our various programs. Thank you to Hamed Ali Al Abri, Ali Hamdan Al Ajmi, Ahmed Al Bahri, Hamid Ahmed Al Brashdi, Kafah Ali Al Ghassani, Bashir Al Mamari, and Laura Duncan for your time and interest in learning about our organization. It was an honor to share our work with you!
