Congratulations to Adult Advisory Board member Athey Ajak on soloing! Athey currently works at Amazon and is pursuing his private pilot’s license, with aspirations of becoming an airline pilot. On his solo, he felt like a true aviator, with other aircrafts in the pattern and calm skies, he felt excited and had no fear. His favorite memories from the sky include his solo, where he also got to see a blimp in his downwind, and flying during the eclipse. His advice to anyone who is passionate about aviation and wants to someday become a pilot is to do it, because the sky is literally the limit and Flight Club 502 will surely get you there.
